In case you are ever on Who Wants to be a Millionaire and this is the 1 Million$$ question:

What does Herman Munster have in common with a 1960 $1 dollar bill?

They both came out in 1960?

They're both green?

I give up.

Did see a car today that reminded me of the Munstermobile...

they're both....uh...they're ...uhh..
Jaybird stole my guesses!
I dunno either
DARN DARN DARN DARN (My Herman impression)

Well, ok, since I know you will never ever get this: On the show the Munsters, Herman's TV daughter, Marylin, was originally played by Beverly Owen, but she quit the show after 15 episodes. After that, Marylin was played by actress Pat Priest for the remaining 70 or so episodes (stay with me). Pat Priest was the real-life daughter of Ivy Baker Priest, from Bountiful Utah. Ivy Baker Priest (Pat's real mother) served as Treasurer of the United States from Jan. 28, 1953 - Jan. 20, 1961 under Eisenhower. As such, her (Ivy Priest's) signature appears on US currency dated between 1953 and 1961. And there you have it.

Good one Basil.

Basil, you need to spend more time in the garage.

Yieeeeee! my brain is melting!
I stand in awe of the extremities in obscurity of your trivia knowlage.
Here's one that's probably a bit more commonly known.
However unlikley it sounds, What was one of Jim Neighbors jobs prior to being cast as Gomer Pyle on the Andy Griffith Show?

I'm going to take a wild guess that he was perhaps an opera singer (I know he really had a superb voice).

Jim Nabors briefly worked as a typist at the United Nations in New York, but drifted to California, where he worked as a film cutter at NBC by day, singing in nightclubs after hours.

That's when Andy Griffith saw him, liked his banter between songs, and he was put on the show as Gomer Pyle.

Yeah! What he said!!!!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif (always follow the guy who knows!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif )

Martx got it. It was an eye opener to remember that he only played an idiot. It's so easy to think of him as his charecter, when in fact he was a very smart man.
he has a degree in business administration.

Didn't Jim also have a part on the Red Skeleton
show.... where he sang in his beautiful voice?
