This is one of my news letters from the FAA. I thought that some of you might be interested in this one.
To the untrained ear, some of this audio might be confusing. This is not Hollywood with all it's glamor, this is real life. There are a lot of lengthy pauses in the audio. This is normal in aircraft communications, it's not your computer.
To listen to the audio, click on the New York Tracon Audio at the top at the list when the FAA page opens. It will be approximately 8 min. into the tape when things start happening. It's in the Teterboro tapes also, 3 down, but harder to define.
