The big brown truck delivered a very well packaged set of goodies from Zaino.
The paint on my ’66 BJ8 is original Colorado Red with one overspray. It’s “patina-ed,” but not oxidized, it looks pretty good for what it is, 40 year old well-maintained paint. I don’t plan to have it re-painted for several years; so I’d like to make it look as good as possible. I searched the forum and talked to some friends before I decided to go with Zaino.
For about $75 I got wax (called Z5) for older paint and an accelerator with mixing bottles (ZFX - which is some kind of catalyst to set the wax (?) or something,) a bottle of car wash concentrate, two clay bars, and three applicators.
I’m not sure pictures will pick up any difference, but if anyone’s interested, I’d be happy to say how I liked the product and how it was to use.
