Update

After all the mess, I finally got the Isuzu running and the Redwood Presentation boxes built. I talked to the PO of my MGB GT. He asked me if the disappearing water problem got fixed. I asked him more and he had the same problem I still have; water gets pushed out of the radiator without the motor becoming hot. I add water a little at a time, so the motor does not heat up. I am wondering if the water pump is the wrong one. I looked in the BV catalog and there are several water pumps. The problem has been on going for a long time with the PO. Before and after a head change the problem is and was still there. Any ideas?

It looks like I'll be able to work on the GT again soon, so I am trying to find a spot to look.

Re: Update

This opinion only. Could be Angus. As I remember from these posts there were two water pumps for the B one of which pushed a larger volumn than the other.

Just might be that the wrong one would cause a bit of a problem maybe.

But first got to figure out what you should be useing and check that that is what you have.

Sorry for the poor answer.
