Update on the GT
Can't remember what or when I posted last, but the engine/transmission are in. Got the clutch bled yesterday, so I think that's ready to go. There is no slave cylinder; it has a hydraulic throwout bearing - something quite new to me. It's essential that the bearing is installed with close tolerance to the pressure plate, so I'm pretty nervous about whether it's in there properly. If not, the whole shootin' match has to come out! Guess I'll find out when I finally start it up...
Have some more wiring to do, and have to run the fuel line, install fuel pump, button up TONS of bolts, install intake manifold and carb, bleed the brakes, finish the interior, etc., etc.
I have the A/C and heat system ordered, and when they come in, I can install the compressor, condenser, and radiator. Once all this is done, it should be ready for its initial startup.
Just when it seems like I'm getting close, I look at all that's left to do!
