Things are pretty typical here, and if anything its been cooler. I can't remember the last May that I haven't had the A/C on full blast nearly all month. So far I've only had it on a few days so far. Heck, it was about 55 a couple of mornings ago and didn't hit 80 in the afternoon.
let's see - two weekends ago it was in the upper 80s. Then last Monday we had some snow (didn't stick). Showers and back in the 50s now. Should hit 60 this weekend.

Put in some fence posts today, post hole digger. 87*F. Bit tired but otherwise quite pleased summer is here. Mornings are still a bit cool (75-ish) but that'll change in a week or so.
Been stripping, sanding and fairing the fly-bridge on an old Chris Craft getting it ready for paint for the past three days and it has been hot (low 90s) and VERY dry but with a fair, stiff east to south-easterly breeze (thankfully!!)
Got that right, Mike - When things hit Doc's "cool" 75 I usually have the A/C on. It isn't the temp, but the combined effect of the sun heating up the house and the high humidity. But lately the seabreezes have (mostly) been so strong, and the air so dry, that even up into the mid-80s the east-facing rooms of the house feel like the A/C is on.
will be 78 here this afternoon. going to the Tannehill Trade Days (big flea market held once a month in the state park - civil war era ironworks) in a little bit.
