Attended what looks to be University Motors last Summer Picnic after 35 or so years. Lots of MGAs , MGBs, a few TDs , a TF and one TC ( mine). I don't recall what the prewar MG was but it was 2/3 the size of the TC ! 150 or so MGs altogether.

The pre-war car was an M-type owned by Reinout Vogt of Chicago. Great car.

I didn't hear a Fat Lady singing....if I were a betting man, I would bet on attending another UML Summer Party within the next five years...probably not an annual event...but a gathering....just like this year's.

Not me . I'll stick to venues that have the general public milling about, not just other car owners , its the only hope our hobby has to survive.

Was this your first UML Summer Party? It was small in comparison to previous Summer Parties....but even then, the comaradarie was GREAT.
