CANCELLED

It's ADA Michigan, 20 minutes or so from Grand Rapids. I was there this past summer. But the 'birthday party' has been cancelled. I got an email from Twist saying so, because of a death in the family:

Never have I cancelled the shop Birthday Party! Last year the snow impeded the ability of many enthusiasts to attend; and I really cannot remember if I celebrated the first year of business in 1976. (I distinctly remember the 2nd Birthday Party!) But this year a family death has intervened. Caroline's father, Oliver Robinson, 77, passed away on Friday, January 13th. The visitation is Friday, January 20, and the memorial service is Saturday, January 21st, the day we had scheduled the Birthday Party! The technical seminars commence the first day of February so rescheduling is not an option.

No problem. Wouldn't have wanted you to make a trip. Although if you're close, it's worth the trip just to stop by his shop.
