This thing is slow so I'm dumping stuff, question: if a publisher isn't listed, is that a safe bet I don't want or need the ware on my machine? Shouldn't all legit software have a listed publisher? Some of the names sound like I need them but they don't have a publisher. Some of my drivers are listed that way(reminder: I know nothing about this stuff)

Get rid of mailware, clean the registry, defrag it and fully optimize it. JMHO. PJ

Well some times it is simpler to do a system restore back to a known good operating time.

Delete everything with "Microsoft" as the publisher.

Absolutely not! Joke! ...ducks to avoid flying object...:dejection:

I have a bot that runs on BCF searching for any reference to MicroSlime. It alerts me to the presence of any such infection.

Glad it was Dave and not ME. I've only spelled it: Micro$hite, after all.
