In the life of Aweeeeeeeeeeeee Mannnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!!!
Decidec to go check on my Motorhome {its been in long term storage at the resort} drove 50 miles from home up Parley Canyon only to find the Easy Canyon road still closed due to snow on top.{disapointment} Went down to Jerimy Ranch to take lower ranch road {Gravel} about 15 or so miles {slow going} but open all the way to East Canyon, so far so good. Got to the resort only to find Store had closed early {DUH! Sunday} {Disapointment} Have to get combination to one gate and key for second gate to long term storage from store./bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cry.gif Managed to hunt down Security Guard {He reluctantly opened both gates for me}. Finally got up to where the Motorhome is, only to find I had forgotten the ignition key. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cry.gif Did find drivers door unlocked Yaaaaaaaaaaaa! Got inside and tried starting Generator {Dead batteries} /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cry.gif managed to jump batteries and get generator going Yaaaaaaaaaa! Wouldnt charge the batteries, but one of the reasons I went up in the first place was to see if new ones were in order for the coming season. {they are!} I guess its going to be new batteries all around both coach and motor.{empty wallet}. I guess what im trying to say is I traveled in all about 150 miles and accomplished NOTHING. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cry.gif
One of those Days [sigh]
AweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeMannnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!!

I've had days like that.
All I did was go to work. It's been "stay inside" otherwise today .
It's nasty here. Everythings total slop!

You accomplished what you set out to do!!

Some days are like that, but at least you now know what the damage will be. A tip on the pass closures -- check the UDOT website ( https://www.udot.utah.gov/ ) as they list all the pass closures on one of their maps.

Is your RV at that resort just off East Canyon Reservoir? That East Canyon road is one of my favorite motorcycle/car roads.

Yes Drew:
My M.H. is in Dead Ox Canyon just off of the south end of the E.C. resivor.
I leave it there year around, as I am a charter member of the resort.
After Dec. and until April, you can forget about getting up to where it is. {too much snow!}
While camping up there we see many many Motorcycles and neat cars cruising the E.C. road between Park City and Hennifer.
If I take my A.T.V.,s Up I have to go all the way around through Weber canyon,{my Little Nissan truck wont pull the trailer with two Yahama 450 4x4 Kodiacks up the east canyon pass, you know why! Thats one steep grade. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/lol.gif
There is some awesome scenery from on top of the property {maby I can post some pics later this summer.} Possibly you could come by sometime this season and take a ride up on the Mountain with me. Ill even let you ride the NEW A.T.V. [snicker]{one is a 2005 and the other is a 2006}
All of the gated roads you see on the E.C. road are our property. Over 9,000 acres of recreational fun!
My original intention was to go bring the M.H. down to the house and do some maintenance on the engine and a few other minor things before we start using it but I guess I will just have to do it up there while the kids are rididng those A.T.V.s
Kerry

That's sure a pretty place for some property! I'd love to come up on the mountain with you. I've not done much in that area other than blast through on the bike. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif
