General TR unexpected 70s gift...

In the midst of a "bit-off-more-than-I-can-chew" interior rebuild. Was initially supposed to be just driver/passenger front carpets....now I have the so much removed I'm thinking it's worth it to pull out the leaking/smoking heater box.

Anyways, to the point - part of the process was to cut new vinyl for the area behind the radio knobs...the existing ones being shriveled and brittle. What I did not realize is that the vinyl was attached to 2 inset plates and when said plates fell out of the radio face plate - VOILA...fake wood! In this case, the Triumph gods giveth....
