I once wrote a published article that appeared on the front page of Aviation News about a pilot who ran out of gas and crashed landed on the wrong runway - using all euphemisms and corporatespeak. I must have it somewhere.

Paul - remember this?

We were almost ready to land, but we ran out of gas and had to fly all the way back.

(This was loosely based on the giant Italian Savoia-Marchetti SM-55s, which landed in Chicago in 1933.)
