well at least to me.... located near the pedal box on my 75 midget is a tan colored boc inline with the speedo cable. it has a life Indicator??? and a shielded green wire leading to the backside of the dash. what is this thing??

Mark

Yep, that's the deal. It was to make sure you did the service on time. When the speedo cable breaks. Get a one piece cable and put the box in the round file.

will do.. Thanx
Mark

NO!! DO NOT PUT IT IN THE ROUND FILE!! SEND IT TO ME...I'LL PAY THE POSTAGE!!!! That's a rare factory option...I wanna put it in a glass case in my gatage!

I think the green wire runs to your catylist(sp) warning light. When your car was fairly new and hit 25,000 miles your catylist light came on indicating service..at least thats how I remember it.

Still: send it to me for display in my 'gatage'....I kinda like that, chuck: the Gatage-mahal!
