General TR UK SPRINT RACE in my TR3a

That was fun...THANKS !
Curious, how long does the clutch hold up to that kind of driving ?

To be honest I’m not sure
1st couple years I had the original type clutch that the previous owner fitted 20+ years ago.
couple years ago I had the A type OD rebuilt and upgraded by these guys.
Better cone clutch and more pressure for a more instant change. At the same time he modified the already lightened flywheel 19lbs to take the diaphragm (tr6) clutch.
I also have the hard uprated engine and gearbox mounts. ( oh yeah it’s a TR6 g/box too)
All make a big difference.

I enjoyed that. (y) Do you shift into 2nd or 3rd OD at all in those sprints? I've heard that some have put the OD button on the gearshift for racing. I guess it would depend on the type of track you would be on in order for the OD to be effective?
