Yes, still looking at the high cost of shipping out of UK and now the fire is rekindled by the disparity of US to UK and UK to US shipping costs. ebay has a set of TR6 Alfin drums (located in the UK) that will cost about $140 to ship to the US. A guy in the US has a set of conventional TR6 drums that he can ship ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD FOR $25.

GO FIGURE!

Watch it vettedog! You keep this up and you're going to start sounding like BoxOfRocks on an e-bay rant! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

VD, why not just order the "Alfin lookalikes" from TRF and save the monies. I believe they are Datsun or Mazda. They fit right up with zero mods. And are cheaper than Alfins, if indeed what you are buying are the real deal. In typical bling-bling fashion, I sprayed mine bright yellow with brake caliper paint (thinned down) to match my front calipers. I now appeal to a broader crowd.

VetteDog,

I've heard of the Nissan (Datsun) drums being used extensively too. They're finned aluminum so they should cool rather well.

Bill,

Someday I hope we meet, you sound like an interesting person to talk to.
