This guy should arrested by the Taste Police.

What a riot! I did meet a guy many years ago who put a ..and I am not making this up.. 426 Hemi in a bugeye. He was very proud. He had also installed one in the back seat area of the VW beetle. Eh, go figure?
When you tires stick out like that and you run over some cat poop in the driveway it will sling off on to your hand that is resting on the wing window. Ask me how I know this.

Three of us run SCCA ITB cars that are almost identical. Last year we considered a friendly wager where by the loser would have to drive a car like this.
(With LOSER written across the back hatch)

Personally....I'd rather drive the pacer.

/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/lol.gif Looks like a real life version of a Big Daddy Roth cartoon! I'll bet driving it would scare the crap out of ya!

Doesn't Pacer actually MEAN "loser"? I think it's already written on the hatch!

I don't really like the way that Midget looks but I sure would like to give it a rip just one good time...Probably need a new set of drawers after that...lol

Hmmmm. I think maybe that guy should be detained at the Taste Police's special Guantanamo Bay facility. I think it is going to take some "special interrogation" to figure out why somebody would do that to an innocent little car.

PACERS RULE!

think it would do a Wheeeelie? i do

back in 1997 when I first bought my Midget I had never seen one before, but not a week after a guy came rolling through town with a 74 with a ford 302 no bonnet, and 7 ft wheelie bars sticking out the back. it was insane looking, but I personaly wouldn't want a strait line car, when it has such a fun base to start with.

Anyone have any information on the car in the picture? ie where it was taken and what engine that is.

Engine looks like a SBC with a polished Weiland or B&M blower.

The photo was taken at the Louisville, KY Marques on the Green British Bash. ( https://www.britishbash.com ) The photo was taken in June of 2004 by me. The owner/builder's name escapes me at the moment, but I can probably find it. The engine is a blown 350 chevrolet with an auto transmisssion and a ford rear end. It did have wheelie bars, and he did drive it about 25 miles to the show. The front suspension (besides uprated springs) was stock.

"My daddy said, 'Son, you're gonna drive me to drinkin' if you don't quit drivin that hot rod spridget'"

Doesn't ryhme as well as Linoln, but you get the idea.

That made me giggle. reminded me of the car show with the wrestler Goldberg. He had a lil Nash Metropolitan with a big ol engine in it on the drag strip, looked like that!
