Tyres for standard Bugeye rims

If buying new tyres for ncbugeye, how wide can I go on the original steel rims? Currently I have 145SR13 Michelin SP-4s which are at least 20 years old, and are probably collectors' items themselves, and almost certainly should be replaced.

From the look of them I should be able to go at least to 155s. Does anyone have anything more than 155s installed?
 
155/80R13 is what is printed on the side of Miss Agathas.
