A little over two years of work but I am beginning to see the end. Next step get her running smooth, getting MC rebuilt, find steering wheel and maybe just maybe after an exterior paint job a ride in the fall leaves.

Looking real good...a question: why didn't you just paint the entire thing?

Good question Tony, mostly due to the cost of paint. I used a one stage paint on what I have done. Wanted to see how it turned out. Was planning on using a two stage on the exterior but as you are aware the cost starts doubling. I am concerned that if I have orange peel etc. can I get it out of the one stage successfully. Have not done that test yet. so there you have it plus I'm not marring up my final coats.
So the short answer is cost.

Looks like she is going to be registered by next summer  Keep moving on it and it will come together. I have been about where you are not that long ago. The problem with having everything nice and neat under the hood is that when you get the fenders and hood back on and go to paint it, you don't want overspray getting all over the nice under hood stuff. I can tell you what I did when you get ready to paint it. Bad advice is always free
