TR4/4A Two quick OD TR4a wiring questions

Hi guys - happy 4th to everyone.

A couple quick questions if I may;

1) Can I pick up my feed from the white circuit to the relay from the fuse box rather than the ignition switch?

2) Can I pick up by NW (brown / white) circuit to the relay from the control box or does it have to be the Amp meter?

Thanks!

Happy 4th to you as well!

Sounds like you are looking to make your own overdrive harness rather than buying it? From what I can see in the wiring diagram for a TR4A there shouldn't be any difference. The TR3's wiring diagram lists both locations as options.

Hi Scott - yes,making one because, well, I just wanted the practice of making it.

A fuse in the brown/white circuit is a good idea if I remember your/Randall's and other guys coaching, yes?

Thanks!

Tom, you should know there is no such thing on this site as a quick question
