A while back my old friend brought his C roadster(hit in front and not driven in many years) and a verynice CGT partially stripped to my shop. The plan was to make one and then sell some of the parts. He called me yestaerday to tell me the cancer he had fought and beat a couple of years ago is back and things don't look very good. He's asked me as time and health permits..to help him dispose of these vehicles as well as many other cars he has. He has a huge collection of Mercedes...many very nice cars including a couple of sports cars. He has some other antique cars in the 30s and 40s. We're going out to lunch today to discuss the MGs and the best course of action. I'll keep everyone posted and when the time comes list the stuff here and another LBC site before anything goes on E-Bay. He told me to say this won't be a fire sale, that hes just sick.. not dead yet.

Jack...Unrelated...how close are you to Albuquerque?

I'm making a quick visit on April 30-May 1.

It would be nice to meet you!

Wish it were closer as I'd love a C. All the best to your friend BTW.

Rick...we're about 230 miles from Albuquerque....speed limit in I-40 is 75mph so it takes about 3hrs and 15 min...plus if you do the speed limit you get run over. I avg. about 80-82 on the trip...jack
