Two different springs in distributor ignition ?

While I've restored my BJ8 distributor. I find that I have two different springs, as you could see in the pictures below !! Is it normal ??

I have not opened up the Healey distributor
But I had different springs in the Triumph Spitfire so it need not be wrong

Yes that is correct. The advance curve has a knee in the middle which is controlled by the rates of the two springs.
