MGA Twin Cam

I'm pretty sure he's on the high side since the most important parts of the engine are lost. Some of the parts ( never a good block) come up for sale but are traded quickly outside of Ebay or Craigslist. Its not worth $30,000 more than a pushrod car based on the parts its missing , not the ones it has.

I agree, too many parts missing! If the engine was complete as it came with the car when new, even though a complete rebuild was needed, it could demand that price, possibly a little less, but for what's there, I wouldn't give over 25 for it. Then it could take forever just finding the parts to finish the twin cam engine. JMHO. PJ

I had a roadster two years ago. Engine was out when I got it. Did you know you have to put the engine in without the oil pan on. Frame is drilled so you can access the pan bolts. Mine went back to England. The coupe looks pretty good, price is high. Maybe $20k. A friend of mine sold a complete but disassembled twin cam engine for $10k. I know where an engine is but the guy is keeping it for spare.
