Twin Cam Healey

P.S. Leonard still has the MGB. It has been one of his most reliable cars yet. Never fails to start and give service no matter how long it sits or is neglected in the back of the garage. It's a good looking car and nice driving, just not as flashy as his Porsches or his Healey or Vette.
Whenever somebody asks me what would be a good "first time" sportscar to have, I always recommended the MGB. Dead-simple cars to understand and work on, and nowadays, the replacement parts availability is incredible.

I still remember the VIN of that car; at number GHNL 938 (and Abingdon usually began a new series at 501__their phone number) it is still by far, the oldest MGB I have ever seen. I had about sixteen (16) of them myself, and worked on dozens more between California & Louisiana, but it's been almost fifteen years now since I touched one. I hope he keeps it for a long time; maybe one of his grandkids will come to appreciate it...
