TVR on ebaY

I have always like the early TVR's especially the 1960's Griffith which had a V8 and 0 to 60 time of 3.8 seconds. Fast now and really fast for 1960's.

Griffith is similar to this 2500 and Vixens. Not sure if that is a good price or not. Never sat in one but assume it may be a bit tight.

I always go the "Out of the Woodwork", a national TVR event here in NJ (in the Fall).
I even met Trevor Wilkinson one year (he started the company...it's named after the consonants in his first name).

As an aside, the November '04 issue of C&D states that TVR has been bought by a wealth Russian banker for about $30 million. Peter Wheeler, who bought TVR in '82, will remain on board as a consultant. TVR's are expected to be exported to the US in '06.
 
Photos can be very deceiving, as we all know. But, that looks like it COULD be a nice example, and if so, the price is right (very big "if").

In fact, I wish I could have one, but I'd have to get the V/8 version!
 
I've been driving TVRs for the past 28 years and have found them very enjoyable. There are always a sampling of these rare,hand-built cars available out there if someone is seriously looking for one. The prices will vary based on true condition of the car, and will vary from model to model.
Also, the TVR Car Club North America produces a newsletter that contains classifieds in each issue. If any of you are interested, contact me and I'll send you a sample issue.

Hello there , just browsing the site and surprised to find references to TVR,s. I have a 1954 BN1 Healey and have just purchased a 1976 TVR 3000M to play with. These cars are very rare over here in Australia, there are believed to be less than 30 "old TVR,s" in Australia and because of this there is no TVR Club here with the result obtaining info about build dates , parts sourcing etc. is quite a problem. Perhaps there is a member of the Forum with whom I can communicate that can provide some answers to the many queries I have. Thanks
