I raced at the vintage event at NJ Motorsports Park two weeks ago.

There was only one TVR (below) in attendance, but it's a beauty!.....He comes to most of our events.

I picked up a Vixen S2, gorgeous, a little more underpowered than I thought, but that could probably be fixed.
 
No problem with sorting the motor, as proformance bits are plentiful. Once you fix the power issue, you will find that you have more than enough power.
Keep in mind that these vehicles where ment for twisty roads and not motorways.
