TVR 2500M tires - what are you running

What tires are you running on your 2500Ms to replace the standard 185R14s? My previous owner put brand new BF Goodrich Radial/TAs on but in 225/60R14. I'm concerned about rubbing.

I can only speak for myself, but I replaced my well aged 185R14's with 195/75R14 and am pleased with the fit.

John,
I've got 185R14's on mine. I would think you'll have issues with the 225's

225's will more than likely make contact with the lower wish bone pivot point. Check out Tire Rack.com for sizes.

I'm sorry, I should have stated my question more clearly. I meant what BRAND and tire model of 185R14 or equivalent size in today's nomenclature are you running?

My last purchase I put Bridgestones on my car, just cause I couldn't bear the thought of walking up to my British car and seeing Yokohama on the tires. I'm just an old f**t and can't help myself.......lots of opinions on tires though and more scientific then my decision.
FYI a 195 will fit under the bonnet as your spare.

Thanks, Ralph.

Are you referring to a 195/75/14? Although the 225s the PO put on my car are new, I'm going to replace them with a correct tire.

Just checked, the spare is a 195 70 R14 Fits fine, but it's a bear to get in/out.
