Driving home today from work and turned over 10000 miles on the odometer on my 1985 TVR 280i. Found it in a carport a couple years ago with 6002 miles on it. People tell me to store it with the low miles but I enjoy driving it too much. Met another guy last weekend with a 280i. That makes 5 guys with 280i's in Orlando that I know of.

Glad you're enjoying driving the 280i so much, Rick. That's what they are meant for, to be driven. They just deteriorate when they sit. I was thinking the other day when I was driving my TVR Taimar how much fun it would be to still have my Tasmin convertible to enjoy putting the top down. Take advantage of your weather and why don't you get with the other 280i owners down there and go out for a group drive. Take pictures, send me a writeup on it for the club newsletter. (e-mail tvrccna@cox.net).
Thanks,
Marshall
