Turn Signals and Flasher Lamp on Dash

So the switch I received from MOSS for Turn Signal for Bugsy had 5 Terminals on it and performed some weird flashing ritual that I could not figure out. I substituted a SPDT 3 Position Switch and got turn signals flashing but HTH do I get the dash lamp to flash. I was told the dash lamp runs off the third leg of the flasher unit, anyone got a simple guide to how the flasher lamp gets connected into the circuit so I can make it flash. Could be I just have green on those terminals. There were no extra wires up there that needed to be connected to a switch on the dash. Thanks.

If your wires are faded it might be tough but the light green wire goes from P on the flasher direct to the dash indicator.

I am sort of having the same problem on my 58 bugeye. It has had 2 new flashers 3 wire type in the past 1/2 year. They just quit about to take one apart. both bought from moss. Is there a better one out there?
thanks

Two things that easily can cause trouble with flashers on BEs:
1. Make sure the case of the flasher has a good ground through the attachment screw.
2. Make sure the flasher lamp has a good ground. Normally it is grounded through the metal dash. I have found that can be a problem with paint and vinyl coverings. I soldered a wire directly to the metal base of the flasher light and connected it to a good ground.
Good luck,

OK have not yet gone to clean up the flasher connections. Have rear signals working and the flasher clicking away. And LF was working as well till I started messing with RF Signal. And I lost parking lamps up front. Time to get the VOM meter busy.

Well still no joy on turn signals but windshield is now in place wit hnew gasket and new stanchions. Yeah a big job off of the Job Board.

While you are thinking about the turn signals, I have this slight anomaly that I cannot figure out. Flip switch to left turn , all lamps flash and turn indicator flashes away. Flip switch to right turn and ball turn ligths are flashing but indicator light flashes once and then stops. Usually this is a sign that a bulb is burned out but as I said both front and rear signals are flashing. Anyone have any thoughts??
