Turn Signal Switch Problem

On my last trip I noticed the turn signal switch on my 74 midget would not stay locked into position when turning right. It worked properly when turning left though. Is it possible to repair or is it necessary to replace. Can't help but notice they are rather pricy at $75.

There are two little clips that keep them in the on position until the cancell tab returns the lever to off. If yours will not remain in one on position or the other, it means the clip for that side is broke.

I had the same issue, only both sides were broke. I bought a good used part from Ebay from the dealer "thebriton" but they appear regulary there. Just get the right one for your year model.
