Turn Signal Light Bulb & Connection .....

Hi again -

Again - working on the small items. Have located the light socket that houses the one and only turn signal indicator (located on dash between tach & speedo) and it works but is not connected to the dash. I forget exactly how.

I have ...

The dash plate (green single dot)
The light bulb connector
A working light (I believe to be the wrong size)

It appears that the dash plate screws onto the bulb connector via prongs and that is how it secures to the dash. However, in re-doing it. Both my friend & I agree that we remember seeing a "low profile" bulb before we massively started to take things apart. Instead of a round glass globe like most lights are - this is more like a nipple or low recess. This would (in theory) allow the bulb to fit enclosed while able to screw the connector and the dash plate together.

Am I right? If so - where can I buy one (Moss had nothing). Advance Auto & AutoZone (local parts places) had nothing..

If there is a bright side to this, this is a pretty minor problem to have versus past years.. :<)))

Tx-

George
