Hi guys.
I have Just bought a 4l XJ40 twin turbo chasseur stealth with 340 bhp and a private reg plate that reads X WING. I paid £2000 for it (dont know what that is in $) it is absolutely imaculate and absolutly beautiful. the reason it was so cheap is because the exhaust manifold gasket blowing. This may sound simple but the turbo units are bolted directly onto the manifold. makeing it near imposible to change the gasket. my co-worker and I think we have sused it but it means displacing the head. but before we do this I need to locate a turbo Head gasket! I have spent many frustrating hours on the net looking with not a great deal of joy. In my search I came across a few companies based in the US that deal in jaguar performance parts. Does anyone know of any reputable firms of this nature? or have any suggestions where I might find one.
