I also liked the last paragraph.
I would have liked to have this article before I rebuilt my 1800V engine.
I hope to start it next year. My MG-TD has about 7 more months of work before I can drive it.

Everyone contemplating restoring a car, regardless what model it is, should at least read the last paragraph in this article. Might make you feel better about what your doing and how your going about it. JMHO. PJ
