Tube shock conversion kits???

When I did mine three years ago, the general consensus was that VB's were the best, so that's what I bought. It took 45 minutes, from opening the toolbox to washing my hands.
So far there have been no problems; about 10k miles.

The one-piece conversion for the TR6 that usually comes with a KYB shock is really made by British Parts Northwest, in Oregon or Washington I believe. I changed the shock to Spax because the KYB was a little harsh. The Spax is adjustable. All the vendors sell the one-piece now. The multi-piece kit is tougher to install and is supposedly stronger. Some have stated that the one-piece unit has been known to fail, ie crack. Others say that there will be an interference with tires. I have 205/70 and see no problems. I personally like the one-piece unit. I would like the welding to be a bit more substantial on it but it seems to be holding up well. The other option is to uprate the stock levers. This does improve the ability of them to "shock" and is a very good, and cheap, option of improving the rear suspension. I for one am interested in adding a sway bar to the rear but cannot do it with the Falcon twin mufflers. Any way of going "overhead" and where could I attach it to the swing arm with tube shocks in place. Revington makes a good looking coil-over rear suspension conversion but is a bit pricey for this application.
