Read it again, Tom, the auction has not become active yet. You won't be able to see it until Monday.

Might have been better to save the announcement until the auction was active, but Oh Well.

I'm not going to stay up until 1 AM,but wish I
had the funds/space to bid on it.

Up to $26,100 so far. Nice! I love how this is all for charity!

And up to $26,300 as of 8:40 pm Mountain Time!!

I bet it will sit at about that level for a few days, the collectors are starting to get the word now.

I did a delayed start so the emails could get around to all the clubs and collectors a bit in advance of the auction opening. The auction opened about 9:00 am Monday morning in the UK to get it rolling across Europe.

At least with this price, some substantial dollars will go to charity, but I'd really like to see much, MUCH more!!

Cheers!

At one point, my TTA publicist Chuck Kittelson, had two Vegas casinos vying for the purchase of UJ for 7 figures, but unfortunately with his passing last year that information was lost - never locating any of the contact information or Casino names.

Maybe some of you know some people who will post the auction on their weekly automobile eMagazines or to their collector base?

I am told some very "serious" collectors are watching the auction - we can only hope! I am sure some of you know the local collector in your area who has a nice warehouse showroom. Let's quickly tap those resources to get as much money for PTSD charity awareness as possible!!

Cheers!

Re: TTA Stag - Uncle Jack has MET THE RESERVE!!

Thought I would poke this up to the top of the stack.

Uncle Jack's Auction has MET ITS RESERVE of $31,500!!! Oh .. :yesnod:

Sa-WEET!

Anyone else notice the high asking prices of several other Triumphs on eBay? Ye0oWWW!

Less than 30 hours TTA Stag Uncle Jack will have a

Hi Folks,

Less than 30 hours the new owner of Uncle Jack will be revealed. :yesnod:

This eBay Auction ENDS at 01:00 am Pacific Time on the 14th, that is about 4 am Eastern time on the 14th and about 09:00 am GMT? Sorry for the odd times listing, I was thinking PM times and set it for AM times ...

Heck, serious bidders will be watching and will put last minute electronic bids anyway ...

WHO might the new owner be?? :winner1:

Any side bets (those proceeds would go to the charity of course ...) on final sale price??

Over 4100 viewing this auction, and over 191 active watchers

Re: Less than 30 hours TTA Stag Uncle Jack will have a

Phil is a long-time Triumph owner, active on the Team.Net lists. Uncle Jack will have a good stable-mate in the form of Phil's 62 TR4.

But I don't recall seeing his name on BCF, so he may not be a member here.

Nice folks Phil and Susan.

Phil wanted me to let everyone know he and Susan are the new and proud owners of uncle jack, so since I have been keeping BCF updated, it was published here.

Phil and Susan had actually test driven UJ here in Colorado on 7 October 2009, overnighted at my place (a.k.a. curbside) on their way back to MN, I think the Stag bite was infectious - usually is!

Oh, the TR4 is for sale and possibly the Miata ... gotta make room for UJ!

Cheers!
