Hi All,

The Triumph Trans AmeriCan 2009 Charity Drive Stag is now in pieces after only 3 <span style="font-style: italic">weekends</span> of work!

<span style="font-weight: bold"><span style="font-style: italic">Those guys are great!!</span></span>

The volunteer teams have their assigned areas and parts for full restoration, and the chassis is on the cart, ready for paint strip!
<span style="text-decoration: underline"><span style="font-style: italic">Bring on the chassis team!!</span></span>

Have a look! https://www.triumphtransamerica.org.uk/

Next, we have the 4 speed J OD and all the conversion parts located and lined up to change this BW35 slushbox a nice J type Overdrive 4 speed.

Is YOUR club on or "near" this route? https://triumphtransamerica.org.uk/?page_id=3

This will be one NICE Stag someone will win at the North American Triumph Challenge / Triumphest in 2009! :winner1:

Cheers!

Glenn - Looked at John's trip schedule and it will apparently miss the 26th English Motoring Conclave by only a few days. Too bad as he probably won't get to see 100 Triumphs together at one time on many of his other stops!

Since you arranged for the Stag and are on the Conclave committee, can't you rearrange the schedule just a few days?

The route is always in flux of course, certainly between the 11 clubs who have stepped up so far.

We are always looking for suggestions and solutions to modify the route to accommodate all the interested clubs.

To get from Denver to Minnesota to Winnipeg , over to Vancouver, and down to San Luis Obispo in time for the main event may be quite the stretch.

Let me do some mileage planning starting that Monday to see what can be swapped around, but it looks like almost 4000 miles to be covered in 14 days unless we completely skip the Canadians.

It depends on how many Triumphs are following John at that point also. If there is a large group, we may see about seriously changing the route to accommodate the Conclave.
