Tsunami Warning Buoy

So when I tsunami buoy crashes into your front window, that's your signal that there is a tsunami!

Much like...

That looks like it could be the most accurate weather forecasting device ever devised.

Yachats is fairly remote and near our favorite Cape Perpetua - a nice slice of Oregon's pristine coastline where bears, and now buoy's , can be found on the beach! Whales come so close to shore here that you could hear them sing! An untethered Tsunami Buoy on this stretch of coastline would be disconcerting! GONZO

Yachats isn't too far from me (here in Portland), so it's gotten a bit more media attention.
The buoy is amusing... but NOTHING (absolutely nothing) beats the famous "exploding whale" from many years ago.

I love the line "the falling debris and the overwhelming smell." LOL

LOL! Lessons learned but repeated anyway. Can't beat the freewheeling 70's! Thanks for sharing. Gonzo
