Well, after an aborted first try, I thought I would try again.
Two thoughts here..1. a blatent ad..2. a chance to let people here see some of my work, never could figure out how to post a pix here.If I have over hyperbolized in my Ad let me have it.I wont like it,but I'll get over it.

I've enjoyed you posts in this forum for months-- especially the rants on over priced ebay TRs. ( learned alot about Trimphs).
I think your description is great--upbeat, entertaining and pertinent.

Read and looked...nice! Almost looks like the Spit I had when I was a kid (except mine was dark blue). Didn't see any reason to nitpick your description /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Nice car, the guy didn't seem to be hidding anything, infact he went out of his way to be open and honest. Don't you wish they all were this way.

From what I read in your auction listing, and saw in the photos, he will be quite satisfied. I look at it like going back in time, say 1971, shopping for a good used low-mileage Spitfire.... I think if we did the conversion to the dollars of then vs. now, the buyer definitely received a fair deal. Keeping in mind, of course, one can't today go to the local used lot and find a two-year old Spitfire.... I guess your keeping the car as unrestored and original as possible paid off. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif
