MGB Trunk lid..[boot] alignement

Just replaced my trunk seal (on trunk) on my 73 "B". Now....the lid wont latch, any suggestions?:cool:

I don't have a suggestion but my daughter goes to Wofford in Spartanburg. Other than my rubber bumpers our cars would be a match. Maybe I will pass you sometime down that way!
 
I think it's been documented in the past that the seal/gasket that fits on the trunk lid is too thick. I know mine on the 74.5 makes the lid stick up higher than the shell height by 1/16+ especially in the corners.
 
Check Moss' website for the "compressable" seal. It's a hollow version.
 
Ended up removing seal to lid type and, went with the body mount type. Much better. All is well now.
