Our dogs get very involved in looking for critters in the backyard, so they often don't hear their names (over and over and over). Their mother figured out a long time ago that opening a treat jar will bring them running without fail.
... and when she wants me to actually listen instead of nodding and "uh-huh"ing she says "more wine?"
