My Wife and I have been doing a little traveling since retired. Of course we notice all the different cars on the road.
This photo of a TR3 was at Lake Louise Alberta. Along the Canadian Hwy. IMG_2465.jpg

This one is a little hard to make out, but this is in Las Vegas. IMG_3133.jpg
At the sign post forest at Watson lake there were license plates that had "MY MGB" from Texas. I am sure that if we stayed longer we could have found a few more. There are about 70,000 signs at the sign post forest. Google it and you will be amazed at what you find. In Fairbanks we saw a nice Austin Healy M 100 drive by. Most of all were the Dodge Ram Trucks. A favorite in the great white north. In 18 months we have driven about 25,000 miles with our fifth wheel. Always on the look out for the LBC or any thing that is different. Between RV people and LBC people you can't find a better group. What is better is a RV'er with a LBC! We have met a few of them. Next trip we will either go back up to Alaska or the other way to Key West. Always keeping a look out for Triumph's. (or what ever passes by)

Hi Dan, I worked in Lake Louise for a couple of years at Chateau Lake Louise...I can't imagine a more picturesque drive to take in a TR3.

Cheers
Tush

We could have driven the whole trip (9000 miles)

in the TR3 or the TR250. The weather was great but our bodies would have been shot. I would like to figure out a way to tow one of our Triumphs to take with us for some short drives.

Thought about having the TR3 with us too on some Southern trips. Car trailer likely best solution for long-range travel. Agree with Tush about those great roads around Lake Louise. Cheers, Mike

Shirley and I were in the area on the way to Jasper with our TR6 in 2012 after having a great time with Barbara and Dave More in Calgary. The weather was rainy, the area was packed with tourists and we were pulling a trailer. We had plans to meet up with some family in Washington and Oregon and considering the weather we decided to get back on the highway.

We have some long trips in our TR6 and have found it to be a wonderfully comfortable car to use.

You Canidians are the best! We lost our clutch 25 miles out of Whitehorse. One of the locals stopped and pulled our 33' fifth wheel back to a RV park in Whitehorse all the time he was on the phone to get us a tow truck for the Dodge, and to get the clutch replaced. Long story short we spent two days in Whitehorse new clutch and back on the road. In retrospect, we had a mechanical problem near Barstow CA. We were on the side of the road for five hours and NO ONE STOPPED. Not even the CHP. We love Canada.
