Autocrossed the TR250 today. Just nicked by a very well prepped and driven 240z owned by a guy about 30 years younger, and maybe 75 pounds lighter (!) than me.
Anyway was cool to see the old cars success against various Miatas, a new Corvette, new Civic SI, BMW Z3, etc. Cropped out the names but you can see the models scribbled on the left side, second run was same models/, order as the first. Couple Sprites out there did well too.
The new Corvette (I've driven it) has gobs more power, stick, and is in another universe as far as brakes, but is also about a foot and a half wider than the skinny sports cars, changing the equation quite a bit in the autocross times.
