Once I got done whining about the weather in Tahoe, we had a good time. The Triumph Travelers did a terrific job- thanks to them. The autocross was a neat cousre- two laps, one toto warm the tires and and review the best line and one for time. I think the course had enough challenge for the veteran driver and was fun for the novice. The birthday party theme was a lot of fun- drop spark plugs into a box, and pin the logo on the TR3. The decorations- Burma-Shave poetry(?) was fun to read. I think I remember seeing some of those on family vacation years ago. Kathy's car, Tillie- the light blue '66 Spitfire, went up and down the hills very well, although we had to replace the generator and voltage regulator.
She was pleased with her autocross time and funcours award. We plan to drink the "Uff-da" prize tonight with dinner.
It was good to meet the Brits that came, and of course, to see
the terrific cars. More Heralds/ Vitesse than I've seen at a Triumphest.
What did you think?
