I've been told that this is a odd request but where can I get wrist pins for TR6 pistons? Suppliers have said no one has ever asked me for those. Rebuilding my engine but reusing my pistons by coating them with a ceramic lubricant. Pistons measured no real wear. Machinist said he never seen a vintage block with 55k on it and the cylinders and pistons be so round and virtually no wear. Anyway wanted to re-bush the rods and get new pins for peace of mind.

Thanks Randall. I think I tried to order them from TRF but not stocked. My 1st go to. I'm going to try again on Wednesday.

Sorry for the bum lead. Did they at least say they would update their database?

No worries Randall. Good reason to call TRF and see how everyone was doing under the circumstances. Dan did not say nor did I think to mention updating their data base. I took the pins to one of my customers who builds top drag racing engines. Told him there was 55k on them and they are completely round and could not see any wear not even a half thousands. I cleaned one up polished it he said he wouldn't have a problem reusing them. So that is probably what I'm going to do but will keep looking. I'll get new small end bushings installed.
