after reading all about the thrust washer issues and all the "fixes" I was wondering why someone has not cross referenced a main thrust bearing that would work when a six was rebuilt. I figure it would take machining too

Hi Hondo,

This came up sometime back and I bookmarked it. I am not sure where I even saw it anymore.

https://www.britishcarweek.org/tr6.html

Anyway as soon as I get the measurements for my crank and block I am going to get in touch to see if he even makes them any longer. There have been too many horror stories about replacements from the common sources for me to have much faith in them.

Because of the impending need for them I am also interested in comments.

That article has me wanting to run out an measure mine right away.

How common a problem is the trust wasers on TR's anyways?
