BRG 1968 Triumph TR250 in excellent condition. Originally a West Coast car (Los Angeles) and was subject to a complete body-off restoration. Has covered only 11,000 since the restoration. Has electric overdrive transmission (o/d in 2, 3 and 4th gears). Zero rust, excellent paint and body, and numerous performance and safety/reliability improvements including:
- Increased compression ratio (10:1)
- High-lift "fast street" camshaft
- Goodparts triple ZS carburetor conversion
- Later model TR6 6 to 2 exhaust manifold
- Dual stainless exhaust
- Goodparts rear CV drive axle and wheel hub upgrade
- Uprated front stub axles
- Aluminium radiator and thermostatic fan
- Crane electronic ignition
- Front Koni adjustable shock absorbents
- Hawk performance brake pads on front and oversized rear brake slave cylinders
- "Knock-off" splined alloy wheels and winged spinners fitted with modern Michelin Red Line tires
- Tourneau cover and tool kit included
Engine improvements should be good for about 140HP versus the stock 115HP for this car - although I have never dyno'd the car. Steering is sharp and tight, suspension firm and brakes excellent. Car is a pleasure to drive. I have owned the car for about 15 years and have all invoices from the original restoration as well as the work performed during my ownership. I am selling the car as I will be moving overseas.
