Hi
Can anyone tell me what size lug nut the Triumph Stag uses? I though possibly MGB nuts would work but too large and the Midget ones are too small. If anyone could give me the size or another car that may be the same I would be greatful.
Thanks
Mike

Wow, this thread is really old. Possibly no help at all at this point, but the threads for Stag lug nuts are indeed the same as TR2-6, 7/16-20 as I recall. If you have steel wheels, or wire wheels, the corresponding TR6 nuts will fit.

However, the tricky part is the alloy wheels fitted to later Stags (standard in US, optional in most areas). They take special nuts because the shank of the nut is what locates the wheel; and I don't know of any substitutes. The good news is that several suppliers in the UK do carry nuts that fit (although they are not quite identical with the original nuts). Eg James Paddock or Rimmer Brothers
