In 1963 I had flown down to Raleigh, NC to visit my sister and Family, while there, was out for a walk and discovered this Triumph dealership.
Walking into the show room I spotted a new TR4, [white/white/red] and one thing lead to another, I drove out with the car that day and never looked back. A few days later left for my home in Montana and had a great time driving up thru the hills of NC, what a great way to break in and get used to a new set of wheels :fat:. 3 months later got married and then the family started to arrive, three years later, was looking for a station wagon :frown-new: the TR4 had to go, needed the room. Fast forward 53 years, after a few Corvettes [the last one left 5 yrs ago] I started looking for a TR6, May of 2016 I found a 1972 project car 12 blocks from me and today it goes to paint. Red/black/black. Did all the body myself, but opted to have it painted.
Classic car frame off's are in my back ground and still have 2 in the garages. Enjoy driving them but this TR6 will be very special :peaceful:.
Looking forward to the Forum.

Welcome to the BCF Jens54! Indeed you have come to the right place. I wonder, is there a British car club of some kind in Bismarck? Seems a good thing you do our own restorations, or is Bismarck more of a center for such things than I realize?
