TR2/3/3A Triumph Lettering

Country flag
Offline
I'm such a hoarder. Cleaning up in the shop and also looking for some parts. I dug out most of the TRIUMPH letters I have in different boxes and bags. I came up with 15 full sets of TRIUMPH lettering, plus a bunch of not complete sets. I counted 23 T's. If anybody needs a letter or more, I am going to list an ad today.

Marv, I'd like to buy a vowel.

Just kidding, but the letters do spell out things for me:

Favorite car: TR
Alma Mater: IU
The joy of driving: MPH

Geo, you went to IU? I have a son starting his Junior year in Bloomington. Majoring in Fraternity life as far as I can tell.

Just kidding, but the letters do spell out things for me:

I was seriously considering putting the letters on the hood in the wrong sequence. My wives name is Prudence, and I call her Pru. Often Miss Pru.
If I had a lisp "M I T H P R U".
I knew all the people that would not find it amusing would be the ones to notice, and since the pin hole patterns don't make it easy, opted for the regular spelling.

Right now, its just a TRI MPH...I'd LOVE to! It doesn't run so its really taunting.

Have a U?
