Triumph Dealer Badge - Canada

Picked up a Canadian dealer badge on eBay. Did some minor restoration work on it and now time for mounting. Anybody else seen one of thse?
 
I have a similar, but not identical badge, I think they were for Standard Triumph Association members. Yours is very unusual though, with the Canada affiliation.
 
I have seen the other badges, but never came across a Canadian specific one before. Keep hoping to find out more information on it.
 
A buddy has a TR3A with one very similar to that -but black and red colours.
