Not to steal anyones thunder but there are other albeit more expensive options.
This particular console evolved from the Spitfire console and if you go thru the entire thread that I'll link to you can see how to order and get a discount and options. I was involved with the development and as such, I do have a financial interest.
For you Spitfire owners, you'll find accessories on the website of which I have no financial interest.

I have one from a Toyota Corolla mid 80s vintage that others have used in 4As and 6s. Mine is in the loft so I haven't fitted it yet.

So there are lots of options.

Ken, I forgot all about those. When they first came out the lead time was really long. I also want to end up with matching upholstery on mine, so send me the link so I can check it out further.

Here's a link to the website online catalog.
You can get a 25 dollar discount on the console by placing the order via direct email and using the "promotion code"given in the 6-pack link (above) instead of thru the website online catalog.

Ken, thought you had to be a 6 pack member to use the coupon. Alan's a stickler on little bits like that.

Alan or the 6pack club has nothing to do with this. It was just a code, easy to remember, to give a discount.
Kinda like "I heard about it at..(fill in the blank).."

Thanks for clearing that up Ken, that was the impression I got from that forum

I'm glad you brought that up then, Don.
Others may have taken it that way, too.
